It used a photo of the “other Emma” as opposed to Emma Watson!

In “Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts,” a special program on HBO Max celebrating the 20th anniversary of the release of “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,” a photo of Emma Watson as Hermione was mistaken for a photo of another Emma! In one scene, a picture of Minnie Mouse is shown on the screen.

In one scene, a picture of Emma as a child wearing a catsuit with Minnie Mouse ears appeared, but it wasn’t Emma Watson in the picture, it was the actor Emma Roberts! A fan noticed this and pointed it out on Twitter, revealing a terrible mistake that put a damper on the emotional reunion.

The photo in question was posted by Emma Roberts on Instagram last year, and of course it is still in her Instagram feed. I think it was probably because the staff of the show who did the research accidentally opened Emma’s Instagram instead of Watson’s, but using a photo of a person who has nothing to do with the work is too fatal.

Incidentally, in addition to Emma, this special program features Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), Rupert Grint (Ron), Tom Felton (Malfoy), Gary Oldman (Sirius Black), and Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix). Through interviews and conversations, they shared their memories of those days and stories they can tell now.
