The decision to leave his character Jack Sparrow intact on the ride

At Disneyland in the U.S., “Pirates of the Caribbean” has been closed for renewal since March 14 of this year, and fans were concerned that the doll of Jack Sparrow, played by Johnny Depp, would be removed as part of the renewal.

However, it seems that Johnny and his ex-wife Amber Heard’s court case had an impact on the fact that Jack Sparrow’s doll was not removed in this renewal.

Speaking of Johnny, he recently won a defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard. This reportedly led to Disney’s decision to leave his character Jack Sparrow intact on the ride.

According to Deadline, “Pirates of the Caribbean” resumed on July 1st, and “fans came all at once to experience the renewal.” Rides had to be closed many times during the day, and one of the reasons for the closure is said to be to improve the flow of spectators around the attraction due to high demand.
