Actor Johnny Depp sent a video message as Jack Sparrow from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” film series, one of his best-known works, as part of a project for Make-A-Wish, a charity organization that works to make dreams come true for children suffering from incurable diseases.

The recipient of the video message from Johnny was 11-year-old Cory, who says he is a fan of “Pirates of the Caribbean. Johnny, dressed as Jack Sparrow, told Cory, who had just launched his YouTube channel, “I will gladly follow your YouTube channel and tell my friends to follow your YouTube channel,” and “I wish you the best of luck. Captain Cory, I am your number one fan,” he said kindly.

Below is the actual video message published on Cory’s YouTube channel, Kraken The Box.

Incidentally, the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series has not made a new film since “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” was released in 2017, but two projects are currently in the works for a sequel, according to the series’ Producer Jerry Bruckheimer has revealed that two projects are currently in the works for a sequel.

Johnny, who has played the main character Jack Sparrow for many years, is said to have been effectively fired from the series due to accusations of domestic violence by his ex-wife Amber Heard, and although he has made it clear that he has no intention of returning, there is no shortage of fans who want Johnny back in the series.

Regarding this, Bruckheimer said that it is Disney’s decision and that he knows nothing about it, and added, “I would like him to be in the series if possible. He is my friend and a great actor. It’s a shame that his personal life creeps into everything he does,” he said in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter just recently.
