Ana de Armas reveals her thoughts on social networking.
Ana de Armas, who starred in the Marilyn Monroe biopic “Blonde,” recently appeared in an interview with “Vanity Fair” magazine.

She spoke not only about her thoughts on the film, but also about why she has distanced herself from social networking sites.
Ana played the legendary American actress Marilyn Monroe in “Blonde,” which was released last September. She has long had a special feeling for Marilyn.
In an interview, she said, “There were a lot of things in the story that I could relate to.” “Putting aside the movie star Marilyn Monroe, she is an ordinary actress who tried to make her way in life and in the industry. Then [director Andrew’s] perspective was added to that, and we were able to see her through her trauma. I really felt like I was trying to do justice as a person on a higher level through this film. I am not an actress who ends up on the cover of a magazine,” she continued.
Ana has now distanced herself from the many social networking sites that exist.
“I only have the Instagram app now,” she said. I think there are a lot of things that are posted on social networking sites that are wrong. If it were up to me, I would delete even Instagram right now. But I can’t. I know better than anyone that I’m not just an actress. I collaborate with a lot of brands and I have contracts. It’s good for PR for “Blonde” and other movies. But I feel pressured to share my personal opinions and my private life with people who are interested in me, so I hesitate to do so. I have to find the right balance, but it’s hard for me,” she adds.
