Bullet Train” will be released in Japanese theaters on Thursday, September 1.

The Hollywood adaptation of Kotaro Isaka’s best-selling novel “Maria Beetle,” starring Brad Pitt and directed by David Leitch (“Deadpool 2”), “Bullet Train” will be released in Japanese theaters on September 1 (Thu.).

On Monday, August 22, in anticipation of the film’s release in Japan, Brad Pitt, who plays the lead role, Aaron Taylor-Johnson who plays Tangerine, director David Leitch, and producer Kelly McCormick visited Japan and made an appearance at the Koyasan Tokyo Betsuin temple in Tokyo.

Brad Pitt plays Ladybug, the world’s unluckiest hitman. He is the kind of character who is always getting caught up in cases and encountering the deaths of people who have nothing to do with him while on the job.

In honor of the unlucky Ladybug and Brad’s “bad luck” this year, an “exorcism” was held at the main hall of the Koyasan Tokyo Betsuin temple.

Brad, Aaron, David, and Kelly were seated in chairs prepared in the center of the main hall and watched as the monks chanted sutras in unison, a fire was lit to burn offerings, and drums echoed in the background.

After the solemn exorcism ceremony, the four appeared together in front of the temple. Brad Pitt, who was exorcised for the first time in his life, said, “I’m just surprised. The character in the movie, Ladybug, is a very unlucky and unlucky man, so I thought it would be fun to do this kind of exorcism, but now that I’ve actually experienced it, the temple is very beautiful and everything is really beautiful. The monks were so beautiful that I got a little teary-eyed.

Brad added, “I think Japan is a beautiful country and a beautiful culture,” and “I want to say thank you very much with all my heart to all my fans,” he said, expressing his gratitude in Japanese.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who made his first visit to Japan, “I was overwhelmed. It was very beautiful. I didn’t know what to expect on my first visit to Japan, but it was a wonderful experience.” “I am very honored to be here thanks to this film, and I am very happy to share this time with you,” he commented with great emotion.

Director David Leach, who has been to Japan on private visits, said, “It was truly a beautiful ceremony. I love Japanese culture and the spirit of Japan,” he commented. Finally, producer Kelly McCormick commented, “I am grateful to have been a part of this special ceremony. Here in Japan was the final stop on our promotional tour, and it was truly a wonderful experience.

He wished the promotion success in Tokyo, the place where the story of the film “Bullet Train” begins, and on August 23, the Japan premiere will be held in Kyoto, which is also featured in the film. The film “Bullet Train” will be released on a nationwide roadshow in Japan on September 1.
