Anyone can easily start a social networking service and become a star if they work hard enough.
This time, Erica Kahlberg, a creator and lawyer with over 9 million followers on TikTok, posted a video showing how much money she has made so far from her videos. She uses her expertise as a lawyer to gain popularity by explaining complicated, legal matters, such as “how to get paid for a canceled flight,” in a simple way. Her videos have been viewed more than 452 million times overall on TikTok.
With hard work, one can become a star on social networking sites, but how much do people who are active on each platform earn?
How much money does Erika make from social networking? She revealed the cumulative amount she has been able to cash in so far.
Instagram –Instagram – $0
Erika: “I have 4.1 million followers on Instagram and my videos have 263 million total views. Insta pays some creators, but not if they have more than 1 million followers, so our revenue is zero.”
Facebook – 71
Erica – “A few months ago I started posting videos on Facebook as well and now I have 3.3 million followers. So far I have received three payments from Facebook. The first was $447, followed by $895, and the biggest was last month, $1,729. The videos I post to Facebook are the same as the ones I’ve already made on TikTok, so there’s no extra work other than hitting upload. It’s pretty easy because the video you post to Facebook is the same as the one you already made on TikTok.”

Erica: “I started TikTok just over a year ago. I have 452 million lifetime views and you can see that I am making a few dollars every day. That brings my total earnings on TikTok to $3,255.”

Erica – “I have 753,000 subscribers on my YouTube. Now, YouTube pays very differently for short and long videos. Let me show you. This 29-second short video got 1.8 million views and earned me $3.00. This 12-minute long video got 2.3 million views and earned me $3.00. This 12-minute long video got 2.3 million views and YouTube paid me $35,000 for it. my total revenue from YouTube, before taxes, is $196,763.38.”
Erika revealed that she has by far the most income from YouTube of the platforms. Instagram, however, surprisingly brought in $0. Erika revealed some surprising facts about the social networking star that people are longing for.
