The U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations (Chairman Richard Neal = Democrat, R-Massachusetts) released former President Donald Trump’s (76) tax returns for the past six years on December 30, 2022.

Release of “Trump Tax Returns.”

The documents released are hundreds of pages in 45 cases. They reveal Trump’s assets, business performance, and how he reduced his tax payments.

Depending on the outcome, it is inevitable that Trump’s eligibility as a candidate for the 2024 presidential election, which he is officially running for, will be called into question.

Upon their release, tax experts have begun to scrutinize the contents of the voluminous documents, and several points have already been uncovered.

First, Trump’s income and tax payments have fluctuated significantly from 2016-20, the period between his announcement of his presidential run and his term in office.

(The Trump Organization, which he owns, operated at a significant loss in some years. In other words, he was not the “god of management” that Trump prides himself on being.)

Two, the Trumps claimed large deductions and losses and paid little or no income taxes for these years.

(i.e., they were suspected of massive tax evasion)

(iii) The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) did not audit Mr. Trump’s tax status, even though there is a provision to audit the President’s tax status annually.

(The allegation arises that Mr. Trump was exercising his presidential privilege to evade the audit.)

■ Conservative Supreme Court also turns down

Why is this release of “tax returns” such a problem?

Trump has stubbornly refused to release these “tax returns” and his doctor’s “medical report” since before he ran for and won the presidency in 2016 until now.

The American voters desperately want to know about the “money and health” of the man who will become president. Mr. Trump has continued to refuse, citing personal privacy.

It is true that presidents are not legally obligated to release their “tax returns. However, for the past 40 years, all previous presidents have released them.

On the other hand, the law also states that the Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee can request the President’s “tax returns.

It was truly a “shield and a pike.

There was simultaneously a shield that could pierce any shield and a shield that could block any pierce.

Neal, as chairman of the committee, exercised his legislative investigative powers, saying he needed the returns to determine whether the law on presidential tax returns was justified.

Trump refused, and appealed to the Supreme Court, which he himself had conservativeized. The Supreme Court, perhaps seeing a chance to win, ordered them to be released.

The video recording is a double-edged sword,” he said.

I am not familiar with the principles of democracy, freedom, and equality (?), but I am a real estate and casino owner. However, for Trump, a businessman who has made his fortune in real estate and casino management, money is an extremely sensitive issue.

The state of New York has condemned the financial irregularities of the Trump Organization, which is owned by Mr. Trump, and has banned it from conducting economic activities in the state.

It is believed to be only a matter of time before the Justice Department subpoenas Trump on charges of abetting the January 6, 2021 Congressional intrusion.

This brings us to the full disclosure of his tax returns.

In previous cases, he has sent out rebuttal e-mails via his own social networking site, but this time he is fighting back with a video recording.

In a video recording*1 that he apparently prepared in advance, Mr. Trump uses the video to show the Democratic Party’s response to his tax returns at the end of the session.

1 The video, which appears to have been prepared in advance, shows that while Trump is furious at the Democrats’ last gasp at the end of the session (pardon the vulgarity of the expression), he is increasingly losing his escape route and appears to be in a desperate situation.

In the video, Mr. Trump states, “These tax returns contain relatively little information.

These tax forms contain relatively little information. It’s extremely complex, and it’s not information that almost anyone can understand.”

The actions of the Radical Left Democrats are an embarrassment to the U.S. Congress.

I have done a lot for the United States. I have done a lot for the U.S. I have created jobs and a lot of Americans have benefited from that.

Look at Biden. Look at Biden. The man committed numerous frauds while he was a senator, and he bought a bunch of vacation homes.

Biden has sold jobs to foreign countries instead of creating them. He has sold markets and jobs to Communist China.

The Democrats should not have done this (release of his “tax returns”). The Supreme Court should not have allowed the House Revenue Committee Chairman’s request for release.

The Supreme Court should not have allowed the House Revenue Committee Chairman’s request to go public. The far-left Democrats are weaponizing every case at their disposal, but you have to remember: it’s not a one-way street. It’s not a one-way street. It is a dangerous double-edged sword.”

Incoming House Committee Chair with All Mighty in His Hands

The Republicans, who have controlled the House of Representatives since January 3, are indeed getting chicken-chested by the Democrats’ last gasp of releasing their “tax returns” this time, following the House Select Committee’s recommendation to prosecute Trump for pursuing the GOP break-in case.

Even though “Trump fatigue” has permeated the party, one can’t help but be outraged that a super-powerful figure has been trampled and kicked so far.

Rep. Kevin Brady (R-Texas), who is certain to become the next chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, warned, “This is going to be a very bad day for the House of Representatives.

“This makes the chairman of the House Revenue Committee and the chairman of the Senate Finance Committee (who can require the release of third-party tax returns as well) all-mighty from now on,” he warned.

They now have the authority to release the tax returns of ordinary citizens, political opponents, business and labor leaders, and Supreme Court justices.”

Some Republicans are beginning to show signs of being prepared to engage in a “war of attrition” in which they will thoroughly investigate and release the tax records of President Biden, his eldest son Hunter, whom they have already targeted, and other family members and relatives.

■ Be the Second T. Roosevelt.

On the other hand, there are those who believe that the Republican National Committee has abandoned Trump.

They say that he is no longer a viable candidate for the Republican presidential nomination.

Dan Gretter, a columnist for the conservative news site American Greatness, said in a December 28 column, “The Republican Committee has given up on Trump, saying he is no longer a viable candidate for the GOP nomination.

If the Republican Committee is willing to ignore the wishes of Republican voters who want Trump reelected and would rather lose to a Democrat than have him back as president again, then why not run as a third party and win?

The Republican National Committee once nominated William Taft for president in 1912 rather than Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th president*2, and Roosevelt ran again as a third party candidate, eventually defeating Democrat Udlow Wilson, the 28th president, in the runoff election. It’s not about whether the Republicans win or lose, but whether Trump, who many Americans want to see reelected, should run as a third-party candidate like Roosevelt did.

Even if the Republican candidate loses, it would be good medicine for the ‘gravy train of the corrupt Republican Party.

*2=Because it was not customary at the time to allow a third election to the presidency, Roosevelt supported Taft, a longtime friend who he believed would continue his policies. However, Mr. Taft proved to have ideas contrary to his own, and in 1912, Roosevelt ran for the presidency as the official candidate of a third party, the Progressive Party (aka Bull Moose Party), but lost the election. Roosevelt’s candidacy split the Republican Party’s support, and the Democratic candidate, Wilson, won the election.

*3=A “Gravy-Train” is a person who makes a lot of money without working hard.

Interestingly, Trump himself reprinted the entire column on his own social networking site.

A whole string of unpleasant things are coming at Trump. In the midst of all this, there is no way that Trump can overlook the growing “Trump disillusionment” within the Republican Party.

If that is the case, it is not surprising that he has begun to think seriously that it would not be a bad idea to enter the race from a third party, even if the Republican Party abandons him.

For Trump, the presidential race has become a battle not to win but to defend his way of life and his pride.
