In an interview with journalist and friend Tom Bradby for ITV, he said, “It didn’t have to be this way,” “I don’t want an organization [the royal family], I want a family,” “I think they think it’s better to make us look bad,” and “They have shown no intention of reconciliation. They have not shown any intention of reconciliation at all,” etc. Although these are excerpts from his remarks, they are as critical of the royal family as those in “60 Minutes.
