Prince Harry released his memoir “Spare” on Tuesday, January 10. In an interview with the information program “Good Morning America” to promote the book, Prince Harry candidly explains what Princess Diana would have thought about the current situation.
If Princess Diana were alive today, what would she think of the current sibling feud?
In this interview, Prince Harry was asked by interviewer Michael Strahan how he would feel about his sons’ current relationship if his mother, Princess Diana, were alive.
Prince Harry answered, “I think she would be sad,” adding, “There are a lot of problems we have to overcome before our relationship can be repaired. But I think she will be able to look after us for a long time,” he continued.
Prince Harry then added, “I feel my mother’s presence even more in the past two years than I have in the past 30 years.
Prince William and Prince Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, lost her life in a car accident in 1997. At the time, Prince William was 15 years old and Prince Harry was 12, at an impressionable age.
The image of the two of them walking behind the coffin in which Princess Diana was laid to rest, with expressions of difficulty in accepting the sudden death of their mother, remains in the memories of many people even today.
Prince William and Prince Harry were supposed to have walked through such a difficult time together, but it has been reported that their relationship deteriorated after Prince Harry’s departure from the royal family.
Prince Harry’s recently published memoirs include episodes of verbal abuse and violence from Prince William, and it is believed that the rift between the two may be deepening.
