The royal family is the original racists.
Popular comedian Chris Rock is in the news for bashing Princess Meghan.
On March 4, Chris Rock’s stand-up comedy special “Chris Rock: Selective Outrage” was broadcast live on Netflix.

In the special, Chris Rock looks back on an interview that Prince Harry and Meghan had with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, in which they claimed to have been racially discriminated against by the royal family.
In this interview, Prince Harry and Meghan revealed that when their eldest son, Prince Archie, was still in Meghan’s womb, a conversation among members of the royal family asked how dark his skin color would be. Many bashings were directed at the British royal family for the racist remark.
In such a situation, Chris Rock criticized the state of the royal family, but also pointed out that Princess Meghan was at fault.
During the show, Chris Rock said, “Who is this Meghan Markle woman? She looks like a nice woman, but she just complains. Didn’t she win the lottery to have whiter skin?” to which I replied, “You didn’t Google the motherfuckers (members of the royal family) did you?” He pointed out that she had not done enough research on the royal family.
What the hell are you talking about, she didn’t know about [the royal family]? They are the royal family. They are the original racists. They invented colonialism. They are the OGs of racism. They are the Sugar Hill Gang (a hip-hop group that had a hit in the 70s).”
Chris added, “They are racist. Seriously, they’re racist,” he said repeatedly, bashing her, “Some of the shitty things she’s been through are not racist, they’re just shitty things with her stepfamily.”
He also named Oprah Winfrey, who was the interviewer, and said, “Oprah. They were racist and wanted to know how brown the baby would be. I don’t think that’s racist. Even black people want to know how brown their babies are.
Chris seems to share some of Meghan’s experience. I understand her dilemma of a black girl trying to be accepted by her white in-laws. Yeah, that’s a tough one. But it’s not as hard as a white girl trying to be accepted by her black in-laws. That’s really hard,” she said, expressing her views on black-white marriages and their relationships with in-laws.
Chris then added, “Meghan Markle, I understand your dilemma. If you are black and want to be accepted by your in-laws, you need to marry a Kardashian,” he said, referring to the high rate of black relationships and marriages among members of the Kardashian family.
