After her acceptance speech, Michelle seemed to have made a video call to her mother, Janet, who was watching in Kuala Lumpur.
Melissa Goh, CNA’s Malaysian bureau chief, posted a video of it on Twitter. Her mother, Janet, was watching the awards ceremony in real time with her family and many friends in what looked like a large venue, and she made a video call with Michelle, who was thrilled with her trophy, looking very excited.
