A long red carpet was rolled out in front of the venue, and the premiere was filled with the excitement and cheers of many fans who were thrilled by the appearance of the gorgeous stars. Dressed in a jet-black suit like Batman, Ben Affleck said of his comeback as Batman, “It was the most fun I’ve ever had and I never expected to play Batman. Still, I love Andy [Muschietti, director] and I had such great experiences before, so I felt really excited to be back here and to be able to play the role again. I don’t want to spoil anything, but I really liked the little ideas that happen in the film. I think I’ve figured out why I’m so drawn to the role of Batman.” He said with a smile.
Sascha Calle, who was cast as Supergirl, Superman’s cousin who fights alongside Flash and Batman, also made an appearance! Dressed in a black dress, Sascha Calle commented on her feelings about the role: “Playing Supergirl is the most precious thing I’ve ever done. She is everything to me. When I was a kid, I was a kid with dreams that were too big to be true. And now here I am, playing one of the most iconic and iconic heroes of all time. I deeply love everything about her and I’m so happy that you guys can look at her and have an emotional connection to her and look up there and know that I’m there too.” He said.
The cast also includes Michael Shannon as General Zodd, the “fiercest enemy” Superman supposedly defeated in a mortal combat in “Man of Steel”; Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, The Flash’s father; Maribel Verdu as Nora Allen, The Flash’s mother; and the cast of “The Flash”, which includes the college students who played The Flash. Maribel Verdoux as The Flash’s father Henry Allen, Kiersey Clemons as The Flash’s college friend Iris West, and others also attended the premiere event.
