Elon Musk “Abolishes Circles” on Twitter, Topic Trending #1

Elon Musk of Twitter’s X Corp. updated his Twitter page on July 8 to report that the service is doing away with Circles and improving its community and DM group chats.

‘We’re improving Communities & DM group chat.’

Twitter circles are a feature for sending tweets to a limited number of users and sharing opinions in small groups.

On this day, Elon tweeted, “We’re deprecating Circles in favor of improved Communities & DM group chat.”

The post continued to spread on Twitter, where it became the number one trending topic. What’s worse, as soon as the Circles feature is deprecated, the content that has been tweeted in Circles will be removed and released to the entire world.
