A number of people have reported that “tweet” (meaning posting) and “retweet” (meaning spreading) have disappeared since the Twitter (X) application was updated on July 31 (Japan time).
On Twitter, people are talking about a change in the notations in the application since July 31.
It has been reported that tweets in the profile field have changed to “Posts,” retweets to “Repost,” and quoted retweets to “quotes about. The sudden change has prompted users to comment, “I’m crying because it’s changed to ‘posts’ or something like that,” and “Repost! What about “Retweet-kun? What is “the quote”? What is a “quote”?
When we actually checked, the latest version of the iPad app showed “Posts” for tweets in the profile field, “Repost” for retweets, and “Quote” for quotes and retweets, but we could not confirm any change in the latest version of the Android app.
