The rekindled romance didn’t last long.
Popular singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes (24) and popular singer Camila Cabello (25) have broken up again, The Sun reports.
Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have been friends since they were both teenagers and started dating after their collaboration “Senorita,” released in 2019. They spent time together and lived together during the pandemic, but broke up in a blitz in November 2021.
However, in April of this year, about a year and a half after the breakup, Shawn and Camila were caught making out at the popular music festival “Coachella,” and rumors of a reconciliation began to circulate. Since then, they have been spotted hand-in-hand several times, and when they visited senior singer Taylor Swift’s concert on May 26, they watched the live performance in close proximity without being seen.
Shawn and Camilla seem to have broken up again just six weeks after reports of their reconciliation.
According to The Sun, a source said, “Shawn and Camilla have a lot of history, and they came back into each other’s lives to see how things were going again. But they simply made out and put an end to it. They realized it was a mistake to start all over again. After all, there was probably a reason they broke up in the first place,” revealing that the reconciliation did not work out.
The insider also concluded, “In reality, they both know that they are not right for each other in a romantic sense, and now they just want to move on.
