Travis just held a concert with Kanye West as a guest in front of 60,000 fans at the ancient Roman chariot stadium Circus Maximus in Rome on Monday, July 7.

The performance was in support of Travis’ new album “UTOPIA,” which sold 500,000 copies in its first week and has been played over 650 million times worldwide, making it the biggest hip-hop album released in 2023 so far.

This is the first tour since eight people died at the venue and two in the hospital in the days that followed due to pressure suffocation caused by a flood of spectators during a performance at the Travis-hosted music festival Astroworld.

Meanwhile, Travis’ team had accused Bob Hilliard, the attorney for the family of Ezra Blount, who was 10 years old at the time he lost his life at the festival, of trying to “sabotage” the new album by releasing his findings on the accident, but he told TMZ, “I make my living from music. For an artist to comment on this avoidable tragedy that has claimed so many lives and injured so many others is astonishingly insensitive.””Of course, they will focus solely on how the date of the report’s release will affect album sales, not on the facts contained in the report.” It is arrogant and insulting to the memory of 10-year-old Ezra and the other victims of this tragic night for Mr. Scott to allow his lawyers and spokespersons to make such reckless and factually incorrect statements that he is blameless because he was not prosecuted,” he said.

However, a few days ago, Travis’ representative fired back at him, telling TMZ As I have said before, the Houston police report confirms Travis’ concern for the safety of his fans, and it contains the exact same evidence that was presented to the Houston grand jury that found no basis to indict Travis. To use that report to try to pin the blame for the Astroworld tragedy on Travis not only defies logic, it seems to me to be a cynical attempt to exploit the victims and psychologically manipulate the public.”
