Actress Amber Heard appeared in an exclusive interview on the morning information program “TODAY. In the interview, she revealed how she felt when she testified that she donated a large sum of money she got from her divorce from actor Johnny Depp to a charity organization.

On the program, journalist Savannah Guthrie said, “You declared that you were going to donate the $7 million you got from your divorce to charity. However, during the trial, it was revealed that the full amount had not yet been donated. In addition, an audio recording of you saying that you had ‘already donated the money’ was made public. Do you think you have lost the judge’s trust because of this? Amber replied, “I took an oath. I took an oath, and that oath takes time to be fulfilled,” she explained.
Savannah Guthrie added, “When you said, ‘I donated,’ everyone thought you were done donating. You knew that. So do you think the jurors present at the trial thought you were lying?” When asked, Amber replied, “I don’t know. I feel like a lot of the trial was designed to undermine my humanity and my credibility and to call me a liar in every way possible.
The program also discussed an accusation from TMZ that Amber leaked the date and time of her court appearance in advance of the 2016 trial and dared them to film the bruises on her face that were allegedly caused by domestic violence from Johnny.
In the interview, Amber asked, “Why should they [the legal team] do that? As I swore under oath before, there was nothing I could do about it,” she denied.
