Selena Gomez was scheduled to appear on a talk show, but had to cancel her appearance on short notice after contracting COVID-19.
Selena cancelled the show on which she was to appear.
My Mind & Me, a documentary about Selena Gomez that will be available on Apple Tv+ starting November 4. The documentary follows Selena for nearly six years, showing her rise to stardom, her being pulled into darkness, and her search for new light.
The documentary will be distributed soon, and Selena was scheduled to appear on “The Tonight Show,” a popular U.S. talk show hosted by Jimmy Fallon.
However, Selena had to cancel the taping of the TV show at the last minute. She then announced that she had tested positive for COVID-19.
Selena published a photo of herself lying in bed on her Instagram. She then said, “I will no longer be able to appear on ‘The Tonight Show’ tonight. I have contracted COVID-19, but I’m resting and feeling fine. I would like to kindly remind everyone here that COVID-19 is still out there,” she commented. In fact, I was supposed to get mine this week,” she said, urging everyone to get an additional booster dose of the vaccine.
COVID-19 is feared to spread again in the coming winter. In Japan, booster vaccinations are recommended for those who can be vaccinated.
