Armie Hammer, the actor known for “Code Name U.N.C.L.E.” and “Call Me by Your Name,” is now being talked about as having a new job after disappearing from the public eye due to the DM leak scandal.

He was spotted in Grand Cayman, the largest island in the Cayman Islands.

Speaking of Armie Hammer, last March, a 24-year-old woman reportedly accused Armie of violently raping her for over four hours at a press conference and was being questioned by the police. Armie also received numerous accusations from his ex-girlfriend after private DMs with dangerous content were leaked, and he dropped out of dramas and movies.

According to some netizens, Armie Hammer, who has been away from Hollywood, was spotted working as a hotel concierge in Grand Cayman, the largest island in the Cayman Islands, a British overseas territory.

A TV producer tweeted, “My friend’s parents went on vacation to the Cayman Islands and Armie Hammer became their concierge,” and since a flyer for the hotel had a picture of Armie’s face on it, the Internet was abuzz with talk of him.

Despite what you may have seen on Twitter, Armie Hammer isn’t working as a hotel concierge in the Caymans.

A hotel staffer spoke to Variety over the phone on Wednesday afternoon, and says this all boils down to a prank.

However, Armie’s lawyer later confirmed that the rumors were completely false. Furthermore, hotel staff interviewed by Variety also admitted that the flyer was a prank.

According to the hotel staff, ” Armie is a guest of this hotel, not an employee. He is friends with some of the hotel staff and they go golfing together. Some employees made up flyers and sent them to several rooms at the resort as a prank. I don’t think hotel employees have ever received this amount of phone calls. The prank seems to have been a success,” he revealed.

Armie has been staying in the Cayman Islands since after last year’s fiasco, and last May it was reported that he was dating a dental hygienist who lives on the island.
