Keanu Reeves saves popular actress from ‘wardrobe trouble’

Keanu Reeves has saved Kate Beckinsale from a wardrobe malfunction after she co-starred with him in a previous film.

Kate Beckinsale, who co-starred with Keanu Reeves in the 1993 film Much Ado About Nothing, says that Keanu Reeves, who is known for being a “good guy” in any case, “saved” her life.

According to the story Kate revealed on Instagram, she was in the car on the way to the Cannes Film Festival with the cast of Much Ado About Nothing when “all the snap buttons on the crotch of the bodysuit [she was wearing] came undone and it rolled up like a roller blind”. The buttons came off in the right place, so she was unable to check the situation, being concerned about the eyes of those around her, and she said she was in a slight panic.

Kate, who had to walk the red carpet in this state, told Keanu and Robert Sean Leonard, who were nearby, what had happened to her. The two men then “held the gusset behind her” without saying a word, so that Kate’s important parts could not be seen.

Reflecting on the time, Kate said, “They may not have even known the word ‘gusset’, let alone what was physically happening, but they still saved me without asking. They are definitely legends,” she says, thanking Keanu and Robert.

Incidentally, according to Kate, the bodysuit in question was purchased at the airport’s Sock Shop (*a shop that mainly sells socks and tights), and she was wearing Dr Martens boots on her feet, a rather aggressive fashion choice.
