She said, “Well, dear friends, I have a personal matter to share with you. I have been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and have started chemotherapy. This cancer is very treatable; 80% of people survive and I consider myself very lucky.”

Jane says in this post, “We need to talk more about eliminating the cause of the disease, not just the cure. For example, we need to let people know that fossil fuels cause cancer,” she said, enlightening them to information that will lead to one of her life’s work: conservation.
