Apple began accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 14 series and AirPods Pro (2nd generation) after 9:00 p.m. on September 9.
Arrival is expected to be delayed by about a month.
The Apple online store did not start on time, probably due to heavy traffic, and started about 10 minutes late, but as soon as it started, orders for the iPhone 14 Pro seemed to be coming in.
When we checked the status on the morning of September 10, we found that the delivery date for the higher-end iPhone 14 Pro was listed as “2022/10/1 – 2022/10/21” (as of this writing) for all colors and capacities, which means that it is expected to arrive approximately one month later than the release date of September 16.
The iPhone 14 Pro Max, which has a larger screen, is expected to arrive even later, with a delivery date of “2022/10/21 – 2022/10/28” for all colors and capacities. In other words, it is already one month behind the September 16 release date.
The regular iPhone 14 can be ordered now in time for the release date. The iPhone 14 is available in all colors and capacities on 2022/09/16 and can be delivered on the day of release. The “iPhone 14 Plus,” which has a larger screen, will be released a little later, on October 7, but is also listed as available for delivery on the same day.
The fully wireless earphones “AirPods Pro (2nd generation)” also appear to have attracted many orders, and although the release date is September 23, the delivery date at the time of writing is “2022/09/29 – 2022/10/06,” which also means that delivery on the release date is already too late.
However, the above is only the status of the Apple Online Store, and there is still a possibility that carriers and mass retailers will be able to deliver on the release date. Also, since the stores should have enough stock for same-day sales, there is no possibility that you can get the phone when you drop by the store on the day of the release.
