Ethan Hawke’s “Thoughts” on Daughter Maya’s “Stranger Things” Are Full of Love

Actor Ethan Hawke shared his thoughts on “Stranger Things,” the Netflix original series starring his ex-wife Uma Thurman and their daughter Maya Hawke.

Ethan Hawke is also a fan of “Stranger Things.

The Netflix original series “Stranger Things,” which regrettably came to a close with the release of Season 4 Vol. 2 on July 1. Kate Bush’s classic song “Running Up That Hill” used in season 4 became a worldwide hit, and Metallica’s “Master Of Puppets,” performed in an equally important scene, reached No. 1 on the Spotify Viral Top 50 chart in Japan. Ethan Hawke, known for his role in the MCU drama “Moon Knight,” is also a fan of the series.

As many of you know, Maya Hawke, Ethan’s daughter with ex-wife Uma Thurman, played the role of Robin in “Stranger Things,” and Ethan also watched the series for that reason.

When asked about Maya in an interview with ET, Ethan said, “It’s the biggest surprise of my life. It’s the biggest surprise of my life, because a child has grown into an adult, into someone that I can really look up to. Maya is fun to be with, passionate, serious, funny, and playful,” and he praised “Stranger Things,” saying, “I love that series,” after praising Maya’s development as a goofball.

‘I’m very proud of my daughter,’ Hawke said. I think she’s doing a great job, and what makes me happiest is that she’s surrounded by wonderful, talented young people,” he said, referring to the 1989 film “Living Now,” in which he appeared as a teenager.
