Kanye West caused a controversy by wearing a T-shirt with “White Lives Matter” written on it at the fashion show of his brand “Yeezy.

Charismatic rapper Kanye West has been under fire for wearing a T-shirt that read “White Lives Matter” at his brand Yeezy’s fashion show in Paris, France, just a few days ago. According to U.S. Complex, several models besides Kanye wore T-shirts with “White Lives Matter” on them at the show. The original supermodel Naomi Campbell also walked the runway, but reportedly did not wear the T-shirt in question.
White Lives Matter” is a well-known racist slogan that promotes white supremacy, created in response to the “Black Live Matter” protest movement calling for the elimination of violence and discrimination against black people.
Although it is not known what Kanye’s intention was in wearing the T-shirt with “White Lives Matter” written on it, editors of famous fashion magazines including Vogue and organizations related to “Black Lives Matter” issued statements condemning him one after another.
