Looking back at the previous seasons, there is always something left unresolved. I feel like season 4 has more of that than ever before. Vecna is definitely still there. So there is a lot of uncertainty,” he said, “and I don’t know what will happen in the future.
When asked when filming will begin for Season 5, he replied, “I have no idea. It takes so much time to prepare for a new season. Season 4 took two years, and who knows how long Season 5 will take? We are hoping that filming will start soon, but at the same time we also want it to be as drawn out as possible, because we don’t want it to end. Because I don’t want it to end,” he said.
Many people are wondering about Max’s future fate. She said, “The production team hasn’t told me about season 5 at all. Of course we talked about it. Before they read the script for Episode IX, they called me and said, ‘I’m going to tell you something first, so you won’t be shocked. And when I read the script, it said, ‘Max is going to die. I have no idea what’s going to happen in Season 5, and Max’s future is pretty uncertain. Because Max is in a coma, and Eleven can’t find me. No one knows what state Max is in,” he said, adding that he has no idea what will happen to Max in the future.
