Blood is the only thing that keeps me from my mom and dad. The bond with his parents has made Aaron Judge a superstar.

On October 4, Aaron Judge (Yankees) hit his 62nd home run of the season into the left field stands in the first inning of a game against the Rangers. Judge’s parents were in the stands to witness the moment he hit the shot that broke Roger Maris’ A League record. The look of relief on the face of his mother, Patty, who had been watching the game for more than two weeks and had been waiting for the historic home run more than anyone else, was especially impressive.

These two are the only “parents” I know.

It is well known that Patty and her father, Wayne, are not related by blood. Judge was adopted by his current parents two days after he was born. He did not learn this fact until he was 10 years old. He was told this when he asked why he and his parents did not look alike.

When one learns at an early age that one is adopted, one might expect to want to know a lot about one’s biological parents, but not in Judge’s case.

They answered all my questions. They answered all my questions, and that was enough for me. They were the only ‘parents’ I knew.

He said in an interview. They were both teachers, and Judge was raised in a loving environment.

Judge said, “If it weren’t for my parents, I wouldn’t be a Yankee. It was his father, Wayne, who taught him baseball, playing catch with him every day after he came home from work, even though he was tired. Judge, who also played basketball and football in high school, ultimately chose baseball because he followed his father’s advice that a baseball player has a longer career.

It is also because of his parents, who are devout Catholics, that Judge uses words from the Bible on his Twitter account. He says, “The only thing I’m not connected to my mom and dad is blood. Our hearts are always together.

After the game in which he hit No. 61, Judge presented his mother with a commemorative ball. In an interview with the YES Network television station in New York, Judge said, “I can’t do what I do without my family. They are the reason I am here and the reason I am who I am,” he reiterated his love for his family. Judge would be proud not only of breaking Maris’ record, but also of the fact that he was able to hit No. 62 in front of his loving parents.
