In an interview on the Today show, George Clooney said that kissing his best friend Julia Roberts in real life was awkward when the family visited the set.
Julia and George have previously worked together on “Ocean’s 11” and “Money Monster.” Julia is known for being close with George both publicly and privately, including celebrating his birthday on Instagram, so many fans were pleased to see them work together again on this new film.

George and Julia play ex-lovers who plot to sabotage their daughter’s wedding in the film, and the two filmed a kissing scene on the first day of shooting, when George’s wife Amal Clooney and 5-year-old twins Alexander and Ella were visiting.
