Director Steven Spielberg believes that the U.S. government is withholding important information about UFOs.

Appearing on the talk show “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on Thursday, March 2, filmmaker Steven Spielberg said, “Given the secrecy with which they try to cover up all sightings of UFOs and the lack of transparency before certain documents are made public under the Freedom of Information Act, I think there is something special going on. Given the secrecy with which the government tries to cover up all sightings of UFOs, etc., and the lack of transparency before certain documents are made public under the Freedom of Information Act, I think there is something going on that requires special care in handling,” he said.

He added that since the U.S. government announced last month that “there are many things about UFOs that cannot be explained,” he said, “Especially the information that has come out recently is very fascinating. I would say it is absolutely fascinating,” said Spielberg, “I would like to hear more about it. I don’t know what it’s like,” he added.

Spielberg said, “There is something going on that has not been disclosed to us,” and continued that he does not believe that Earth is the only planet where life exists, and that “it’s mathematically impossible.

Director Spielberg, known for hits such as “E.T.,” has made several films about the paranormal in the past, including “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” (1977), a science fiction film about an electrical engineer man and his contact with aliens.

In 2005, he teamed up with actor Tom Cruise for “War of the Worlds,” a film about an alien invasion of the earth that threatens human life.

In January of this year, the U.S. government released documents that are considered classified. According to the report, most of the UFO sightings were not alien, but there are more than 100 unexplained ones.
