The multi-billion dollar acquisition of Twitter by Elon Musk seems to have had a big impact on big-name celebrities.
Actress Amber Heard, known for her role in “Aquaman” and other films, saw her Twitter account disappear just a few days after her ex-boyfriend, Elon, bought Twitter for $44 billion. Her handle @realAmberHeard could no longer be found as of Thursday, November 3 local time.

Speaking of Amber, her endless backlash due to her legal dispute with ex-husband Johnny Depp has led some to wonder if she wanted to take a break from social networking, while others wonder if the disappearance of her Twitter account has anything to do with Eron Musk.
Elon and Amber dated in 2016 and had a private relationship for a year before going public with their relationship, which broke up in 2018; they first met on the set of “Machete Kills” in 2013, in which Amber starred and Musk made a cameo. At the time, Elon had wife Tallulah Riley and Amber was married to Johnny.
The defamation trial between Amber and Johnny had also been the subject of a lawsuit in which Amber had accused Elon of having an affair with her before her divorce from Johnny was finalized. Elon had denied the claim.
Now, however, Amber’s Twitter account has disappeared, leading some to believe that Elon and Amber’s relationship may have soured.
Also, after Elon’s acquisition, Twitter announced that it would make the blue check mark a paid service.

In response, famous author Stephen King said, “[Paid] $20 a month to keep my blue checks? I don’t know about that, I want you to pay me,” he tweeted.
