■About 155,000 people attended— North American tour sold out.

With the news of SUGA’s first solo world tour, all the North American shows were already sold out. SUGA attracted over 155,000 people at 11 shows held in 5 cities.

SUGA’s performances centred on songs from her solo album ‘D-DAY’ and mixtapes ‘Agust D’ and ‘D-2’, and boasted the diverse charms of SUGA and Agust D going back and forth. In particular, through this performance, which harmonised the VCR and stage composition expressing the transition history of SUGA and Agust D, the production that melted the two types of ‘ego’, and the marks of constant worries as a ‘musician’, SUGA strengthened her identity as an artist.

In response to this, the audience, who had turned the venue purple, filled the venue with explosive energy and sang the setlist enthusiastically to complete the stage with SUGA.

A surprise guest performed at the Los Angeles show and received a great response. SUGA performed on the ‘Burn It’ stage with MAX on 11 May and with Halsey on 14 May, singing ‘SUGA’s Interlude’ together in perfect harmony.

The main characters of the tour… — SUGA, Agust D and Min Yoongi” received good reviews from foreign media.

The North American tour, which was completed with a composition that you can’t take your eyes off, fascinated the audience perfectly and was well received by the international media. The UK music magazine NME gave the world tour performance a perfect score of 5 and praised it as ‘an opportunity to showcase his musicality’, while the US entertainment media Variety said, ‘SUGA shows the burning energy and musical and performance skills that he has accumulated throughout his career, which began 10 years ago’. The report said.

US media outlet Nylon said, “As the first BTS member to hold a solo tour, SUGA has been performing actively despite the pressure of having to showcase her own unique performances. Even when performing the most basic compositions on stage, his charisma overflows and he shows his ability as a true professional’. The US entertainment media outlet TEEN VOGUE commented: ‘SUGA thrilled the audience with his special effects, band and unique stage set-up. The ‘D-DAY’ tour with three main characters (BTS SUGA, another ego ‘Agust D’ and Min Yoongi) is comparable to a rock opera and theatre performance”.

SUGA will continue their world tour in Jakarta 26-28 May, Japan 2-4 June, Bangkok 9-11 June, Singapore 16-18 June and Seoul 24-25 June.
