Aaron Carter put his home on the market just days before he passed away, the New York Post reports.
Aaron was found dead in his bathtub on Saturday morning, November 5, local time.
Aaron wrote on Twitter on October 29, “Selling my second house. Real estate is soooo good to me. It’s my third house to make a beautiful life for my family and I’m ready for a new chapter,” he continued.

Aaron was engaged to Melanie Martin. The two had been in a rocky relationship, going through breakups and getting back together, and had just welcomed their first child, a boy named Prince Lyric Carter, in November of last year.
Aaron’s brother Nick Carter’s manager, Lori Graff, told The Post in an email that “Aaron has passed away,” while TMZ reported that Aaron was found in the bathtub of his home. The cause of death has not yet been announced.
Aaron, who had struggled with drug addiction, had purchased the seven-bedroom, four-bathroom Lancaster property for $620,000 in November 2020, records show. He then put the residence on the market three months later. Since then, the residence has been on and off the market.
Aaron last put the house on the market on September 30, more than a week before the $30,000 price reduction. The property is surrounded by palm trees and features a kitchen with granite countertops and a large walk-in pantry. The property also features a primary suite with living room and fireplace, a large outdoor patio, pool, spa, and other amenities.
Aaron began his career by opening for his older brother Nick’s band, the Backstreet Boys, on their 1997 tour. That same year, at just nine years old, he released his self-titled debut album, which sold one million copies. He then began opening for Britney Spears and other major artists.
As he got older, however, he faced many struggles. He previously revealed that he had been diagnosed with schizophrenia, multiple personality disorder, and anxiety disorder.
