Amber Riley of “Glee” tells the other side of her past comments about Lea Michele.
In 2020, Lea Michele was accused of being “traumatically harassed” by her co-star on the popular musical drama “Glee,” in which she starred.
Samantha Ware, a black actress who co-starred in the show, complained via Twitter that Leah “buggered me, made condescending remarks, and sneered at me.
This led to Leah being called a “racist,” and she was bashed from all sides.
Amber Riley, who also co-starred in “Glee,” defended Leah, saying, “She is not a racist.
Amber recently appeared on the talk show “ZIWE” and was asked by comedian Ziye Hmudu, who hosts the show, about the truth behind this comment.
Ziye Hmudu asked Amber, “Did you mean to say in the past that Leah doesn’t care about race, but is rude to everyone regardless of race? Amber was asked.
At first, Amber even tried to dodge the question by saying, “Did I say that?
Amber answered ambiguously, “Maybe, but I think she (Leah) would say, ‘I don’t care about race,'” and added, “But like we’ve been talking about, everyone cares about race,” which was a meaningful answer.
When asked on the show if Amber’s 2014 song “Colorblind” was about Leah, she denied it with a big smile.
