Prince Harry of the British royal family has revealed how he felt when he first met his brother Prince William’s wife, Crown Princess Catherine (Kate Middleton).
Prince Harry published his memoir “Spare” on January 10. In it, Prince Harry revealed how he felt when he first met his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.
Prince William and Crown Princess Catherine met in 2001 when they were students. Prince Harry then met Crown Princess Catherine around 2005.
In the book, Prince Harry describes the time he attended a costume party in 2005, where he met Catherine for the first time as Prince William’s “new girlfriend.
I liked my brother’s new girlfriend. She was rambunctious, sweet, and kind. She had spent a gap year in Florence and knew photography and art. And clothes. She loved clothes. Her name was Kate.”
While Prince William was choosing costumes for the costume party, Prince Harry “enjoyed pointing and rolling around on the floor” with Princess Catherine.
‘I loved watching Kate laugh. More than that, I liked making her laugh. And I was good at it. My silly side and her silly side meshed well. I worried that Kate would take William away from me, and I would think of all the funny stories we would have together, and I would comfort myself and tell myself how wonderful it would be to have a girlfriend to laugh with.”
