On February 3, the Premier League announced the Player of the Month, Manager of the Month, and Goal of the Month awards for January.

After scoring the game-winning goal against Bournemouth in the 19th round on January 3, Rashford scored the game-winning goal against Manchester C in the 20th round on January 13, contributing to the team’s come-from-behind victory. On January 22, against Arsenal in the 21st match, he scored the first goal for the team with a powerful mid-range shot from outside the box.
Rashford, who scored three goals in four games, was named MVP for the second time this season and the third time since last September. The other players named as MVP were Dan Byrne, an English defender from Newcastle; Brennan Johnson, a Welsh international from Nottingham Forest; Riyad Mahrez, an Algerian international from Manchester C; Solly March, an English midfielder from Brighton; and Brentford’s Spanish goalkeeper, Gary Burns. Spanish goalkeeper David Raya of Brentford, and English midfielder Bukayo Saka of Arsenal were nominated.
The best manager award went to Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta, who rode out the January league season with a 2-1 undefeated record. This is the third time this season that Arteta has won the award, having won it twice in a row in November and December. This is the first time that the same person has won the award for two consecutive months since Josep Guardiola (Manchester C) in 2021 (November and December). In addition to Arteta, Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper, Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi, Aston Villa manager Unai Emery, and Brentford manager Thomas Frank were also nominated.
The goal of the month went to Crystal Palace’s U-21 French midfielder Michael Ollies, who scored a direct FK in the seventh minute (postponed) on January 18. He swung his left foot from outside the box to the top right corner of the goal.
