This walking exercise was introduced by TikToker Allie Bennett on her account.

All you need is a walking machine, a pair of sneakers, and your favorite playlist.

In a video posted in April 2022, Ally Bennett created a 30-minute playlist of Taylor Swift songs and walked to the tempo of each song.

She warms up with the slow-tempo songs and then speeds up as the songs increase in speed. The up-tempo song is a fast walk, almost like running. Finally, they cool down again with a slower song.

The fact that the exercises can be done to your favorite artist’s music has been a big hit, and the video has received 3.9 million views and more than 670,000 “likes.

The exercise is called the “treadmill strut,” and Spotify now has a dedicated playlist of songs from various artists. In addition, a search for “#TreadmillStrut” on TikTok has resulted in approximately 125 million views of all videos.

The creator, Allie Bennett, told The Post, “It was the result of me rethinking exercise in my mind,” she said, “I had a disruption in my diet as I continued to dance competitively from an early age. So I think it was valid to come up with an exercise that focused on ‘walking and having fun,’ rather than ‘a workout that counts what you do and how many times you do it, or how heavy you lift, or keeps track of calories,'” she added.
