Gigi Hadid talks about life as a mom and co-parenting with her former partner.

Model Gigi Hadid recently appeared in an interview with The Sunday Times.

She opened up about her life with her 2-year-old daughter, Khai, and parenting with her former partner and co-parent, singer Zayn Malik.

In the interview, Gigi said, “I try to schedule my work schedule when Khai is with her dad,” and continued, “Seeing her spend time with both her mother and father is what makes me the happiest.

As for advice for those raising children in joint custody, Gigi added, “Above all, keep in mind that the child’s happiness is important. You’re going to be with this child for a long time,” Gigi said. “She is obviously my child who grew up in my belly eating a lot of English food, like breakfast, beans, and curry. She still eats the same kind of food. She has a little bit of a British accent, which I love.

While Gigi was born in the U.S., Zayn is from England. Khai’s love of British food and her British accent may be due to Zane’s influence.

She has already given me so much,” Gigi says of her daughter, “I always wanted to be a mother someday, but I’m not obsessed with it or think I was born on earth for it. I’m more of a tight-assed person, so to be able to have Khai at this point in my life was a blessing. I am so happy to be a young mother,” she revealed.

Gigi and Zayn began dating in 2015. They had a daughter, Khai, in October 2020, after a series of breakups and reconciliation. However, the following year, in 2021, they broke up.
