The Legend of Tarzan Alexander Skarsgard admits he and his girlfriend had their first child. He did not reveal the baby’s name or gender.

Actor Alexander Skarsgard (46), known for his roles in The Legend of Tarzan and True Blood, has admitted that he and girlfriend Tuva Nowotny (43) have welcomed their first child together.

Alexander recently appeared at the season four premiere of the Emmy Award-winning social drama Succession.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, he was congratulated on the addition to his family and said, “Thank you”.

Alexander also received a stuffed animal on the red carpet, which he said was a potential present for the baby. However, Alexander did not reveal any details about the name or gender.

Alexander and Tuva were photographed pushing a stroller in New York last November, and there were reports that they may have had a baby, but they did not comment themselves.

The paparazzi outing came seven months after Tuva announced she was pregnant. And according to Page Six, the two had never made their relationship official before.

Back in 2013, Alexander spoke candidly about how his father, Stellan Skarsgard, had changed his mindset on fatherhood. ‘I want to beat my father, he had eight [children], I think I should try harder, he’s 65, he welcomed a child four years ago. My father had children in the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. He had six with my mum (My Skarsgård) and … Two with my new wife (Megan Everett).’
