A video of a concert held by popular singer Billie Eilish was uploaded to TikTok, causing a debate on the internet about the manners of the audience.
The video in question was released by TikToker Mikayla Bley (@thefamousmikbar).
The video shows several scenes of Billie singing enthusiastically on stage, but for some reason Billie’s singing voice is not heard from any of the scenes. The female fans nearby are singing so loudly that Billie’s voice does not reach Mikayla.

Mikayla captioned the video, “You’re not the star”, chiding the fans for singing too loudly. She also wrote on the video, “To those who think they can ruin every video by thinking they can sing better than Billie”.
People who viewed the video wrote: ‘I’m crying (after watching the video)’, ‘Wasn’t she trying to get a record deal?’ Jokes included, “I know it’s a concert but she sings too much”, “I’m very sorry for you but this is so funny”, “She had her own concert, didn’t she?” and “She wasn’t singing with Billie, she was singing at Billie’s concert”, Some have expressed sympathy for Ms Mikayla.
Speaking of concert etiquette, at a recent Taylor Swift concert, a video of a man and woman seated in front of and behind each other doing the ‘twerk/twerk’ (a hip-hop dance in which the performer shakes his hips violently) was spread, and was bashed as ‘inappropriate behaviour’.
