Aaron Carter was a singer and model. He was found dead in the bathroom of his home in Lancaster, California, US, last year, causing grief to many.
The cause of his death was recently reported, but Kelly K, Aaron’s former publicist and agent, is questioning the cause of his death.
Kelly K recently told Page SIx, “We are happy that this case has finally been resolved and we can send him off in peace,” and added, “However, we know that two people were in his home leading up to his death and we are puzzled as to why those two people were not properly identified and I am puzzled as to why they are not being investigated”.
A report by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office released on Tuesday attributed Carter’s death to “drowning” and the effects of difluoroethane, a flammable gas often used as propellant in compressed air cans, and alprazolam, the generic Xanax. Aaron had admitted to being a huffing (inhalation) addict before his death. Police reportedly found several cans of compressed air in his bathroom at the time of his death, which appeared to substantiate the findings of the autopsy report.
However, Aaron’s former fiancée, Melanie Martin, is not convinced that others were not involved in his death. She specifically questioned the claim that Aaron drowned, saying in a statement to TMZ: “The coroner’s findings are not a resolution for me. The cause of death is stated as drowning, but it also says that he was wearing a T-shirt and necklace in the bathtub, which does not add up. Why would she get into the bathtub with her clothes on?” He commented.
