The Japanese dubbed version of the film was released in selected theatres in North America and Canada on 28 April (Friday), the same day as the Japanese release date.

This Japanese dubbed version is a ‘special Japanese version’ because, instead of the traditional process of producing a Japanese translation of the completed film, the Japanese version was produced in parallel with the production of the film, giving the impression that the film was produced in Japanese from the beginning.
