Victoria’s Secret has produced a documentary, The Victoria’s Secret World Tour. The film, which is set in four cities around the world, will include Japan.

Victoria’s Secret has produced popular models such as Miranda Kerr, Gisele Bundchen, Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima, and becoming a billboard angel was even considered a “gateway to success for top models”. Lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret announced a new partnership platform, The VS Collective, to overhaul its structure in 2021.

The brand has since been reborn and features a diverse range of models, including plus-size models, down syndrome models and black transgender models, as well as popular models such as Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber.

 

Victoria’s Secret is now producing a documentary entitled The Victoria’s Secret World Tour.

 

According to a press release, the documentary will “integrate fashion, film, art and culture, featuring dynamic global creatives, top supermodels and musical talent”.

The Victoria’sSecret World Tour, which is said to be streaming in September, will feature 20 global creatives, known as VS20, selected from Tokyo, London, Bogota, Colombia and Lagos, Nigeria. The documentary features behind-the-scenes footage of collections in each city created by artists, choreographers, film-makers, fashion designers and other creators from various fields, and the items are said to appear on the Victoria’s Secret runway show in autumn. Five Japanese designers have been selected for the film: fashion designer Jenny Fax, film director Kai Ishihara, painter Sai Kaido, dancer Aoi Yamada and artist Komuai.

 

Raul Martinez, Executive Vice President and Head Creative Director, said in a press release that “the film is the ultimate expression of Victoria’s Secret’s brand transformation”, and expectations are high for what will be created.
