Pete and Chase Sui Wonders recently purchased a mixed breed dog, Cavapoo, at the Citipups pet store. However, the Internet has expressed outrage over their choice to “buy” the dog.

Page Six’s Instagram post about the report was flooded with comments disparaging Pete, with one follower even commenting, “That sucks. Others said, “Don’t buy it, take it back,” “Buy a dog…? That’s disgusting,” and other comments were also seen. Another commented, “I didn’t even know those kinds of pet stores were still legal,” and another urged, “Stop supporting those horrible ‘puppy mills’! and “Stop supporting these horrible ‘puppy mills’!

Pete had lost his beloved dog, Henry, at only two years old. I met Henry at the beginning of the pandemic and he saved our lives. I don’t know what we would have done without him,” he said, revealing that he was still broken by the loss.

TMZ reported that Pete fell in love with the dog in a photo before visiting the pet store in person. The puppy he brought home was a two-and-a-half-month-old male, and apparently had not yet been given a name. Pete and Chase had visited the pet store together, but it is unclear if they will jointly own the dog.
