The trial was being broadcast live, but the camera was off when the woman made her statement because it was near intermission.
According to Angette’s Twitter feed, the woman told Law & Crime magazine that it was a joke. It was apparently a prank. Angette commented that this kind of behavior “should never be done just because there is no judge”.
