Miyu Kato (Xymax), winner of the mixed doubles title at the French Open, one of the four major tennis tournaments in Japan, posted a photo on her Twitter account of two shots with the ball girl who was disqualified after she hit the return ball in the women’s doubles match.
She also revealed that she gave her a gift and said, “Glad to hear that the ball girl is safe and continues to play. Looking forward to seeing you again! Wish you good luck!” and so on.

She gently cuddled up to her. The ball girl in the two-shot photo, dressed in black, had her hair in a braid and was wearing a tournament uniform. She is also holding a paper bag of some sort in her hand. The ball girl smiled as Kato placed her hand gently on her shoulder.
Kato posted the photo on her Twitter account. I was very happy to hear that she is safe and continues to volunteer as a ball girl. I hope you are pleased with the gift I gave you. I look forward to seeing you again! I wish you good luck,” she wrote in English, and also learned that this ball girl is still going on.

On June 4, in the third round of the women’s doubles tournament with Aldila Sutjiadi (Indonesia), Kato hit the ball girl with her return ball and was disqualified after a discussion. She then teamed up with Tim Puetz (Germany) to win the mixed doubles title on June 8, winning the final against Bianca Andreescu (Canada) and Michael Venus (New Zealand) 10-6 in a 10-point first-round tiebreaker from 4-6, 6-4, 1-1 to win her first major four-match championship.
