The following day, Manchester C held a pre-match press conference in anticipation of the match that will decide the pinnacle of Europe.

The press conference was held at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, the venue for the final, and was attended by the team’s captain, Pep Guardiola, as well as Portuguese defender Ruben Dias and Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.

Ruben Diaz said, “This is a final. It doesn’t matter how we got here, when we get on the pitch and actually start playing, we are just the favorites. We have two cups now (Premier League and FA Cup) and we are on our way to the last one (CL title). We will do whatever we can to reach it,” he said, adding that he is ready to finish the season on a high note.

De Bruyne added, “We have been consistent throughout this tournament. Now we have to find a way to win our first championship. If we can do that, it will be immense and wonderful for the club and the fans. When asked by a reporter if he had fallen in love at first sight with the inseparable Erling Haaland, he responded, “No, I’m happy with my wife.

Guardiola, who has won several titles, was full of hunger, saying, “Of course, winning the CL is the dream of all of us. We are ready. I am sure the players will give everything they have and I am sure we can do it,” he added.

Manchester C topped the group league standings this year with an undefeated record of four wins and two draws, and then reached the final of the tournament, beating the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid to reach the final. Manchester C will now face Inter Milan in the final of the tournament with their long-awaited first CL championship and “treble” (the triple crown of domestic league, domestic cup, and CL) on the line.
