At the end of a concert in New York, BeBe was walking from the back of the stage to the front when she was struck in the face by an object thrown from the audience.
It was later discovered that the object thrown from the audience was a smartphone. The impact of the phone on her face caused Bebe to fall onto the stage, and staff immediately rushed to the stage to deal with the situation.

Bebe temporarily moved to the sleeve to check on her, but it was determined that first aid alone was not enough to deal with the situation, and she was immediately taken off stage and transported to the hospital. As she exited the stage, Bebe raised her hand to the audience, showing her professionalism to the end.

Naturally, the meet-and-greet that was scheduled after the concert was cancelled. According to a Rolling Stone reporter, the NYPD took a 27-year-old man into custody after determining that he intentionally threw his phone at Bebe. Some reports indicate that Bebe received three stitches, but no further details of her injuries are known at this time. However, her condition is said to be stable.
