Stephen “tWitch” Boss, who worked as a DJ on the popular American talk show “Ellen’s Room” as well as a dancer and producer, has committed suicide. TMZ and other news outlets report the news.
Stephen ‘s wife, Alison, noticed something unusual in Stephen’s unusual behavior.
On Tuesday, December 13 (U.S. time), Stephen’s wife, Allison Holker, called the Los Angeles police to report that her husband Stephen had left the house without getting in the car. Allison said she noticed something unusual about Stephen’s unusual behavior.
A short time later, at about 11:15 a.m., paramedics who received the call found Stephen dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a Los Angeles hotel. He was pronounced dead on the spot.
His wife Allison told TMZ, “Stephen brightened every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends, and community above all else, and leading with love and light was all he did.”
Allison added, “He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans. His legacy and his positive influence will continue. I am confident that there will not be a day that goes by that we do not honor his memory. Finally, Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you,” he concluded.
Stephen began DJing on “Ellen’s Room” in 2014 and will remain on the show until it ends in May 2022. He also became the show’s executive producer in 2020.
His real breakthrough in show business came in 2008 when he won second place on the dance show “So You Think Can Dance.”
Since then, he has worked as an actor and has landed several roles where he can showcase his dance skills. He played Jason in the movie “Step Up” and appeared in “Magic Mike XXL”.
Upon hearing of Stephen’s passing, “Ellen’s Room” host Ellen DeGeneres released a statement. She said, “Our hearts are broken. tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him. Please send my love and support to Allison and his beautiful children, Wesley, Maddox, and Ziah,” she said, paying tribute to him and expressing her sadness.
