Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One,” the latest film starring Tom Cruise, will be released in the U.S. on July 10 (Monday).
In the film, Tom jumps off a gasket on a high-speed motorcycle, detaches himself from the motorcycle, and then parachutes to the ground, performing an extraordinary stunt.

The scene was filmed on the first day of the film’s crank-in.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Tom revealed the reason why he dared to set the dangerous action on the first day of shooting. The reason for this was quite crazy.
Tom and the producers were concerned that Tom would be injured while filming the stunts and the production would be halted.
So, to avoid a production halt after most of the filming was completed, they dared to start filming with a dangerous scene.
The film’s director, Mr. Kubota, said, “Everyone will eventually find out if we are going to continue with the film or stop it. So it’s better to know on the first day.” Tom continued, “The first day will decide whether we continue production or have to rewrite the film drastically.
Tom added, “I’ve been training, so I was ready,” adding, “When you do that kind of action, you have to keep your nerves as sharp as razors. That was the most important thing in preparing for the work. I didn’t want to abandon that feeling and shoot another scene and have my mind go somewhere else. Then, everyone is already ready, so let’s just do it,” he said, expressing his thoughts on this scene.
