Ozempic” is a drug used by diabetics to manage their insulin levels.

However, since it became a topic of conversation on social networking sites that it is “effective for weight loss,” its price has risen in the U.S., making it difficult to obtain. Dr. Terry Dubrow, who appears on the popular reality show “Botched: The Light and Dark Side of Plastic Surgery,” warns people who are willing to take risks in order to lose weight.

Dr. Terry Dubrow, who recently spoke to TMZ about the death of Elvis Presley’s daughter Lisa Marie Presley, who died in January of this year, from an intestinal blockage caused by weight loss surgery, said, “Professionals who teach weight loss should raise awareness about the dangers of treatments like Ozempic and weight loss surgery. The experts who provide weight-loss guidance should raise awareness about the dangers of treatments such as Ozenpick and weight-loss surgery,” he said. He argues that this could be a life-threatening situation.

According to Dr. Dubrow, long-term risks of weight loss surgery include the possibility of hernias, gallstones, malnutrition, ulcers, heartburn, and dumping syndrome* with diarrhea, vomiting, and lightheadedness. In addition, the combination of this surgery and weight-loss drugs such as Ozempic, as well as opioids for pain relief, could lead to the worst possible outcome, he said.

*That changing the flow of food, such as reconstruction after stomach resection, causes a variety of unpleasant symptoms, including dizziness, palpitations, sweating, headaches, and shaking of the fingers, as food that used to pass through the stomach flows directly into the intestines.

Dr. Dubrow noted that three of his patients have been hospitalized for intestinal problems and pancreatitis as a result of Ozempic use, and that multiple side effects such as excessive abdominal pain, diarrhea, and sagging skin have been reported, as well as the possibility of suicidal ideation.

Dr. Dubrow then warned, “At the moment, this is not on the agenda, but there will come a time when we will have to talk about it.

Common risks of weight loss surgery include surgical complications, postoperative complications, nutritional deficiencies, dietary difficulties, and psychological problems. The surgery itself involves risks of infection, bleeding, and anesthesia, while postoperative complications such as vomiting, diarrhea, malabsorption of nutrients, and gastric distention can occur. Weight loss surgery also increases the risk of nutritional deficiencies because of the rapid loss of weight. This can lead to decreased immunity and bone density.

In addition, weight loss surgery requires a restricted diet, which can make it difficult to control eating and may increase the risk of psychological strain and eating disorders. On the psychological side, the patient may also have difficulty adjusting to the image changes caused by rapid weight loss and the changes in the body after surgery.
