Despite DCEU star Gal Gadot’s statement that “Wonder Woman 3” is in production at DC Studios, a new report claims that it is not in development after all.

DC Studios is not actively working on “Wonder Woman 3”

Despite a major reboot project by DC Studios in the works, Gal Gadot recently surprised the world by revealing that “Wonder Woman 3” is still in production after director Patty Jenkins left the project. When speaking to ComicBook.com, Gal said, “I love Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman is very near and dear to my heart. What I’ve heard from James [Gunn] and Peter [Safran] is that we’re going to develop ‘Wonder Woman 3’ together.”

However, according to new reports by Collider and Variety, DC Studios is not actively working on “Wonder Woman 3. At the time of this report, James Gunn had not made any comments about “Wonder Woman 3” on his social media accounts since Gal Gadot first spoke about it.

It is unclear why Gadot spoke about “Wonder Woman 3” as if it were actually happening, but this latest development raises the question of whether a third film is likely to happen down the road. If a sequel is to be made, it will likely be a long time in the future.

Fans of the film are hoping that James Gunn or Gull will have some sort of comment on this “confusion” in the near future.
